Julie is 18 and lives in Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoys biking, reading and hanging out with her friends, and hopes to pursue a career in healthcare.
Julie, who lives with a chronic illness, has been a camper at Camp Simcha Special for the past nine summers and attends Chai Lifeline Midwest Shabbatons during the year.
"What's incredible about Chai Lifeline is that the case managers, counselors and staff genuinely care and make efforts to stay in touch with you," said Julie. "Throughout the year I get calls from the staff at Chai Lifeline Midwest checking in on me to see how I'm doing. It means a lot to know that I'm on their mind. Their dedication is real."
