Achim B'Yachad is Chai Lifeline's division serving the Chassidic communities of Brooklyn, Monsey, New Square, Monroe, Lakewood, Staten Island, and beyond.

Achim B'Yachad families are eligible for the full range of Chai Lifeline support services, such as case management, respite care (including overnight, Shabbos and Yom Tov stays), meal delivery to hospitals and homes, transportation to medical appointments, i-Shine afterschool programming, insurance advocacy, family retreats and events, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special, and more.

Our Yiddish-speaking professionals and volunteers provide culturally sensitive social and emotional support in hospitals and communities. Project CHAI, Chai Lifeline's crisis intervention, trauma and bereavement arm, has trained paraprofessionals in the Achim B'Yachad communities to assure that services are provided within the sensitivities of families and the communities.
