Miriam is 13 and lives in Hollywood, Florida. The eighth grader’s favorite subject is math and she enjoys singing and drawing, as well as reading Percy Jackson and Harry Potter novels. Miriam aspires to pursue a career in medical research and find a cure for cancer.
Chai Lifeline came into Miriam’s life when she was diagnosed with cancer as a young child, providing support and services for her and her family. For the past seven summers, Miriam has attended Camp Simcha and her younger siblings take part in Chai Lifeline’s i-Shine afterschool program.
"Everything about Chai Lifeline is amazing," said Miriam. "The love you feel from everyone, including the staff, the Camp Simcha campers, and the families we meet throughout the year, is really inspiring.”
