Yaakov is 18 and lives in Phoenix, Arizona. The youngest of three boys, he enjoys spending his free time in the gym, playing video games, or hanging out with friends.
This past summer was Yaakov’s sixth at Camp Simcha Special. During the year, he attends Chai Lifeline Shabbatons and participated in last winter’s Wish At The Wall trip to Israel.
"Chai Lifeline helps my family and me throughout the year,” says Yaakov. “They are there for us physically and emotionally. Meeting other people who have been down this road before and can understand what you're going through has been really helpful.”
He adds: "Chai Lifeline has been there every step of the way; there's always someone to talk to, someone who can help.”
