Atara is 11 and lives in Chicago, Illinois. In her family of eight children, Atara is number five. She is going into fifth grade and her favorite subjects are social studies and history. Atara’s favorite sports are baseball and football and her hobbies include bike riding and singing on stage.
At birth, Atara was diagnosed with several congenital complications including a number of heart conditions. For the past four summers, Atara has been attending Camp Simcha Special. She looks forward every year to reconnecting with her friends and overlooking the camp from the sky on helicopter rides.
