The i-Shine Coordinator will coordinate and implement the i-Shine Phoenix program. This includes the planning, shopping and preparations, and implementation of the weekly i-Shine groups. Every day will bring new challenges, learning experiences, and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we support.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Develop a thorough understanding of i-Shine and how it impacts children and families
- Provide ideas for projects and activities for i-Shine groups
- Under the direction of the i-Shine Manager, assist with implementing and managing all aspects of the plan
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including host schools, volunteers, etc.
- Interfacing with parents, children, volunteers, and partners
- Coordinate and manage all logistical aspects of each i-Shine event
- Bring creative ideas and resources to the growth of i-Shine in Phoenix
- Personal attendance at each i-Shine Phoenix event
- Assist in ad hoc assignments
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
1 year preferred

- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to connect well to children and teens
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently
