The Assistant Office Manager will assist the Administrative and Clinical Staff with various projects, services, and events. This includes supporting the execution of day-to-day assignments, including fundraising and community events and initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide assistance and support to program and administrative staff
- Help with the planning, implementation, and staffing of Chai Lifeline events
- Help with meal and gift deliveries to clients
- Coordinate the Birthday program – selecting, wrapping, and sending out birthday gifts to West Coast clients/siblings
- Coordinate the local fundraising programs with schools and camps
- Present the programs to students/campers
- Support with the logistical needs of fundraising events
- Facilitate local pickup and deliveries as needed
- Assist, restock, maintain, and overall coordination of the Chai Lifeline Kosher Pantry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
- Assist in ad hoc assignments
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1 year preferred
Work Requirmenet:
Driver’s license and vehicle
Professional Skills:
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Ability working with sensitive information
- Nonprofit experience is a plus
SCHEDULE:
- Per diem, up to 20 hours a week. Additional hours may be required for seasonal events; some weeknight and weekend hours may be required.
