Tzvi's journey with Chai Lifeline began as a volunteer at our medically-intensive pediatric summer camp, Camp Simcha. A creative genius with a passion for upending the status quo, Tzvi transformed Camp Simcha's magical campgrounds into a commensurate "Never Never Land" for the Lost Boys of pediatric illness. Upon completing his tenure as Assistant Head Counselor, Tzvi embarked on a mission to establish the Mid-Atlantic Region of Chai Lifeline.

A Baltimore native, Tzvi had a history for being able to identify and meet emerging communal needs. In high school, while serving as a Group Leader fo Congregation Shomrei Emunah, Tzvi created the Junior Football League (JFL), a widely popular football league for Baltimore youth with now over 400 players. In response to the growing crisis in Baltimore, Tzvi formally inaugurated the Mid-Atlantic Region of Chai Lifeline to provide year-round critical support to families impacted by pediatric illness or loss.

His passion help guide and direct the staff and volunteers in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and the enthusiasm he brings to his region resonates beyond the walls of his office and the hospital wards, impacting and inspiring other Chai Lifeline offices nationwide.

In addition to his position at Chai Lifeline, "Reb Tzvi" is the Judaic Activities Coordinator at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, and is currently pursuing his Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Leadership.
