"Chinese auctions" combine elements of silent auctions and raffles. Like raffles, participants purchase tickets, which are then dropped into containers associated with specific auction items. At the conclusion of the bidding period, a winning ticket is drawn from the container. Participants can increase their chances of winning a specific item by increasing the number of tickets entered into the item's container.
If you canít make it to Chai Lifeline's auction, you can still participate through our website, www.chaiauction.org. View the entire catalog and place your orders online. We will notify you if you win.
