Chai Lifeline is the organization that attends to the overall well-being of each individual and family unit that is affected by a life-threatening or chronic illness. The most impressive parts of our organization include a premier summer camp experience, advocacy, weekend retreats, amazing recreational programs, assistance for families when children are hospitalized, and crisis management – all free to families. These outstanding and life changing services are staffed by experienced professionals and volunteers that love and care for our children and their families, enabling them to wake every day with hope—whether at home, in the hospital or in Camp Simcha!
Since our region’s inception, I have had the privilege of seeing undoubtedly the most dedicated and devoted love and care from our staff and volunteers. This is what inspires me on a daily basis and why I feel that Chai Lifeline is so unique. As a result, Chai Lifeline’s families, and even the families of our volunteers, feel this incredible sense of unity. We call it the Chai Lifeline family!
I accepted the position of Chairman of the Board because I was impressed by how much Chai Lifeline has helped Coby Rosemore and his family. My role is to cultivate and encourage our board members and supporters in order to facilitate our region’s development and growth, and to assure that our region is fiscally responsible. We are directly engaged in raising awareness within the greater Jewish community. I am able to do all of this because of the extremely committed board members and our volunteers.
Being involved with Chai Lifeline has been the most humbling experience for me. I have witnessed the huge impact and hope that we are able to give many families that are experiencing illness. The commitment that no family should have to deal with illness alone is our top priority. This organization is like no other that I have been involved with before. I am proud of our mission and our Chai Lifeline family.
