Do I look like the guy that would bike 150 miles? I didn’t think so either!
Yet, on August 7th and 8th I will bike 150 miles from the Jersey Shore
to Camp Simcha (www.campsimcha.org) in the Catskill Mountains.
Camp Simcha is an extraordinary overnight camp that gives children with
cancer (or other serious diseases) a vacation from their illness - a place
that rejuvenates the spirit of youth and the innocence of childhood. My
wife personallybenefited from this incredible organization when she was
diagnosed at the age of 14. (You can read her story here.)
The ride won’t be easy, but neither is life for a child with cancer. In
case you haven’t noticed, I’m not the king of fit. The sole reason that I
will be dedicating the next 7 months to training for this bike-athon is to
help these innocent children.
My objective is to raise $36,000 and I cannot do this without you. I am
confident that you want to support me in this noble endeavor. All donations
are 100% tax-deductible. Please contribute by clicking on the donate
button.
Thank you for helping me support Camp Simcha, as they do their part to
alleviate the suffering of children with cancer.
Best regards,
Zev
