Once again, this summer, I'm gonna kill myself (in a socially acceptable way!). I plan on bike riding 175 miles (mostly uphill!) from the Jersey Shore to Camp Simcha, an extraordinary overnight camp that gives children with cancer a vacation from sickness that restores their spirits and renews their determination to fight illness.
Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special, are the organization´s flagship programs. Every year these two camps offer 400 children a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. (To learn more about Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha special, visit www.campsimcha.org.)
I'm gonna do the hard part by riding nearly 200 miles mostly uphill, and I'm hoping you will do the easy part.
I’m hoping that I can count on you to support
my ride. I am endeavoring to raise $10,000, 50% more than I did last year, and
I am hoping that you can help me meet this goal. I know it seems like a lot but
if you saw the faces on the campers at Camp Simcha,
you would know that these kids deserve so much more than any of us could
offer. Please contribute by clicking on the donate button now.
Thank you for supporting me, and in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.
Best regards,
Sim PS For more info about the bike ride please visit www.bike4chai.com
