This summer will be the second time I will bike 150 miles from the Jersey Shore to Camp Simcha, an extraordinary overnight camp that gives children with cancer a vacation from sickness that restores their spirits and renews their determination to fight illness.

The ride won\'t be easy, but neither is life for a child with cancer or other serious illness. Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special, are the organizations flagship programs. Every year these two camps offer 430 children a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. (To learn more about Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha special, visit www.campsimcha.org.) I will be biking to camp on Wednesday and Thursday Aug. 8rd & 9th. As was last year, my objective is to raise $3,600 by then. The overwhelming support that I was met with in the past will I hope again be shown. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
