CHAI LIFELINE SOUTHEAST CELEBRATES ANNUAL GALA ON MARCH 13

Gala Will Pay Tribute to Guests of Honor Gina & Mitch Sinberg; Community Service Awardees Danielle & Jared Lustman; and Chai Builder Awardee Ben Rozsansky

Chai Lifeline Southeast will celebrate its 2019 Annual Gala on Wednesday, March 13, at Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Synonymous with providing joy and hope to children with serious illness and their and families, Chai Lifeline Southeast has been providing vital social, emotional and financial support to Florida’s Jewish community for over 32 years through its various programs and services.

The gala’s theme is “Dream. Hope. Inspire.” and will pay tribute to Guests of Honor Gina and Mitch Sinberg of Delray Beach, Community Service Awardees Danielle and Jared Lustman of Hollywood, and Chai Builder Awardee Ben Rozsansky of Miami Beach. The program will also feature a special performance by Israeli music superstar Gad Elbaz.

Guests of Honor Gina and Mitch Sinberg

“We attended the Chai Lifeline Southeast Gala last year and knew right away this was an organization we wanted to support,” said Gina. “We met friends, staff, volunteers and families who had benefited from Chai Lifeline’s services. Their narratives moved us. As parents, it breaks our hearts to see children dealing with such painful medical realities.”

Mitch is Senior Managing Director for Berkadia’s Florida mortgage banking team and serves as an occasional adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University, teaching real estate finance and investment. In 2017, he was named one of South Florida’s Business Journal’s 40 under 40 honorees. Mitch and Gina are the proud parents of Dylan and Chase.

Community Service Awardees Danielle and Jared Lustman

For Danielle and Jared Lustman, their connection to Chai Lifeline is a personal one: “When our son Greyson was diagnosed with a virus that attacked his vital organs, we caught a glimpse of the wonderful organization that is Chai Lifeline. They understood what we needed before we did! We felt the warmth of their support, whether it was through providing referrals and advocacy, to meals and necessities before Shabbos, to checking to see how Greyson was coming along. Our experience led us to get involved in events and programs which has proven to be incredibly rewarding for us and our children.”

The Lustmans both work for Brauser Maimonides Academy in Fort Lauderdale—Danielle serves as Director of Marketing and Operations, and Jared as Athletic Director, in addition to his role as Director of Camp Kfir. The Lustmans are active Chai Lifeline volunteers and are the proud parents of Brady and Greyson.

Ben Rozsansky

Ben Rozsansky is a key executive in the home office operations of the Galbut Family, where he manages daily operations for multiple real estate projects and performs a myriad of developmental, financial, personnel management and special events and activities. He is Vice-Chairman of the not-for-profit Plaza Health Network Hebrew Homes for the Aged and is the proud father of Hindy and Noach.

“We are proud to recognize these wonderful honorees at our upcoming Gala,” said Ellen Weiss, MSW, director of Chai Lifeline Southeast. “They all share our commitment to helping the most vulnerable children and families in our community, and truly reflect the values and mission of Chai Lifeline.”
