Camp Simcha is open each summer for two sessions. For the summer of 2010, the girls’ session will be from Wednesday, August 11 to Wednesday, August 25, and the boys’ session will be from Wednesday, July 14 to Monday, July 26. Camp Simcha is open to all children age 6-21 diagnosed with malignancies or chronic hematological disorders. Preference is given to children on active treatment or post-treatment, as indicated. Preference is also given to children with disabilities resulting from treatments.
Camp Simcha Special is open each summer for two sessions. For the summer of 2010, the girls’ session will be from Sunday, June 27 to Monday, July 12 and the boys’ session will be from Wednesday, July 28 to Monday, August 9 . Camp Simcha is open to all children age 8-17 diagnosed with serious chronic illnesses. Approval from the child’s physician is required for acceptance.

If you are a responsible, caring, empathetic and upbeat individual, post high school and age 18 or older, and are interested in really making a difference in the life of a sick child, this may be for you! The Camp Simcha/Camp Simcha Special experience, unparalleled for children, is also incredibly rewarding, uplifting and meaningful for those special people who comprise our staff.
